Trixie and I just got back from the Esprit transgender conference yesterday. It was our first time attending. It was also the first time I've gone 24/7 for a full week and it felt pretty good. So good in fact that I will probably be going full time in the near future. Yeah I know . . . WHOA!!!
It is something that has been ping ponging back and forth through my brain for over a decade now. I think having a full week to focus on all the different issues and events in my life that brought me where I am today has really helped me out. I feel like I've had all these bits and pieces of this "stuff" and just haven't had the time or haven't *made* the time see how they all fit together. Just being able to be full time for that short period of time at least gave me a glimpse of how things could be. It eased some fears and instilled some new ones.
I'll be blogging about last weeks events more in the near future. A couple of the highlights for me though were hearing Donna Rose speak during a luncheon and being able to have a chat with her while walking a few blocks from downtown back to our hotel rooms. And being called a bitch, as a compliment, by one of the presenters whom I came to really admire (thanks Claire!!).
Soooo . . . since we were a little late getting back on Sunday I had to reschedule my cam show and webwhoring to Tuesday 4-5 pm Pacific Time. Sorry about the last minute changes.
